Ex-MEGADETH Guitarist JEFF YOUNG Launches 'Music Without Boundaries' Internet Radio Show

March 22, 2011

Former MEGADETH guitarist Jeff Young has joined forces with non-stop Internet radio station Powerhousemix.net.

"Music Without Boundaries", Young's new three-hour weekly radio program premiered today (Tuesday, March 22) from 3 to 6 p.m. PST. The program spans the musical globe — blending, juxtaposing and revealing rare tracks and intel about the artists, records and music business. "Music Without Boundaries" also features subject matter outside the music realm including new and classic comedy and discussions of topics ranging from art, film and sports to health, spirituality (not religion),wellness and global awareness.

Commented Young: "Because I've been fortunate to tour and live in various parts of the world since my twenties, I always made a point to seek out the little indie record shops in the cities I visited, to find all the cool regional stuff."

"Folks are so busy in this modern day that they just don't have the time to seek out the vast wealth of music and talent available. My show saves them that time.

"The mission of 'Music Without Boundaries' is to provide the most expansive and inspiring selection of music, news and topics on radio. We're here to give 'the best of the unheard' a worldwide transmission. You will hear things on my show that you would never hear anywhere else. Extreme genres can exist in the same programming format when the DJ uses care and creativity in the overall presentation."

Powerhousemix.net is distinguishing itself from the pack by offering one of the clearest and continuously improving audiophile signals on the net. The colorful cast of DJs offers a diverse and fresh array of genres, music news and interviews with a sense of respect and care for the music, artist and listener.
